Sunday School Teachers

Teachers: Sis. Missy Shoumake

We have been doing teacher rotation this year.  Sis. Samantha Hutcherson,  Sis. Missy Shoumake, Sis. Selena Clemons, Sis. Amy Enoch, & Sis. Leigh Armstrong are each taking a different class every Sunday.  This allows us all to sit at least one Sunday in on our Pastor's adult class.  This also helps us each one grow spiritually and learn to reach different ages.

Pre-School Class:

I thank Jesus for saving my soul and for the sweet Holy Ghost that dwells within me.

I feel so blessed to be able to teach a Sunday School class. Teaching a child about Jesus, and the love that He has for us is the most important thing you can teach a child.

Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Each child is precious to me, and I love them all so much!  I am looking forward to 2022 as the children learn and grow in the Lord. It is such a blessing to see these little ones praying in the altars and singing for the Lord. They are watching those around them, and learning to give God praise!

Elementary Class:

I am so thankful for all God has done for me.  For filling me with the Holy Ghost and giving me His Word for guidance.  I am blessed with a great church family, and I love each and every one.

I am thankful for God's mercy and grace and that He never gave up on me.  I am glad I was raised in church and for all the saints who were a light to me.  I pray every day that God will use me for His purpose.  I know that I can do all things through Christ who  strengthens me.

I believe most of this class has repented, been baptized in JESUS name, and some have received the Holy Ghost, and we are praying for revival in our younger youth!

Teenage & Preteen Class:

My heart is with these youth, and I praise Jesus that He has given me the love and opportunity to teach these precious young souls.  Many people cannot remember how it felt to be a teenager, but I try to bring Jesus to them in the things they are feeling and in the situations they are faced with right now in their daily lives.  I praise Jesus that someone loved me through all of my valleys of decision that I faced as a teenager.  I know that I cannot make them live for Jesus, but if I can help them fall in love with Him, then they will desire to live a Christ-like life.

All of the youth in this class have repented and been baptized in Jesus' name!  I believe that all of our teens have recieved the Holy Ghost, but any who don't have it yet will receive it very soon, in Jesus' sweet name!  I praise Jesus for the growth I see in all of them.  They are such a blessing to the church as they step out in obedience to the Spirit in our worship services.
