Nanny: Smith County - Main Street in Carthage, TN.
What year?
Nanny: 1950
When was the best day of your life?
Nanny: When I got saved and found the Lord. And when I got married and had my children and my grandchildren.
What was the greatest thing you have ever done?
Nanny: When I got the Holy Ghost. Also when I saw my grandchildren get baptized. That was a great blessing.
How many children do you have?
Nanny: Two.
How many grandchildren?
Nanny: Three.
From your lifetime of experience, give us some advice.
Nanny: Always put Jesus first in everything you do. Always love your family and spoil your grandchildren.
Also, when they were little. laying in bed we would tell each other how much we loved them. Chris would say, "Nanny, I love you all the way to Jesus." And I would say, "You can't love Nanny more than that."
