1 to 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef or chuck
1 can tomato sauce (for lasagna)
6 oz. tomato paste
16 oz. cottage cheese
lasagna noodles
1 large can sliced mushrooms
2 cups grated mozzarella
Parmesan cheese
8 slices American cheese
season salt

Brown meat.  Add tomato sauce and paste.  Simmer for about 20 to 30 mins.  Boil noodles with salt and oil.  Pour meat mixture into baking dish.  Cover with noodles, spread cottage cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, mushrooms, American slices.  Sprinkle with season salt.  Bake at 375 for 30 mins.
