Buttermilk Biscuits

2 cups self rising flour
about 2 tbsp. lard
1 cup buttermilk

Cut lard into flour really good until flour feels grainy.  Add buttermilk.  Squeeze flour and buttermilk by hand.  Sprinkle some flour onto the counter and drop biscuit dough on the flour.  Roll the ball of dough just a few times until flour lightly covers dough.  Pat dough out to preferred thickness.  Cut out biscuits.  Bake at 400 for about 18 to 20 mins., until biscuit tops are brown.  Rub down with butter when done.
